Where The Information Comes From.
STATE:
For the State of Wisconsin the process of keeping track of legislative information, and bills is a difficult job if you are not a legislator. The State of Wisconsin Legislator has made the job easy for any person that has an Internet connection. Here is a great web site that keeps track of all the legislation for the State of Wisconsin if you wish to watch them on your own.

NATIONAL:
For legislation on a national level in Congress, the process may look more complicated, but it is basically the same. The process is more slow at the national level. EANGUS keeps track of all legislation that affects all National Guard issues in the country and territories. Here is the web site that keeps track of all congressional legislation.

The information can be found in different locations on the web pages. The best way for anyone to see what is available, is to look at each area. When you get into an area, then do a search on a word that relates to your subject of interest. The results will be displayed with your word displayed.
When you find out what bill your information is in, then you can look up the bill number to read the details. You can then get the status of your bill of interest and see when there will be action on it by looking at the calendars and hearing schedules.
Bills that are important to the WNGEA and EANGUS are listed below. When a bill comes up for a vote or other critical action, a notice will be placed on the CALL TO ACTION page, and emails will be sent out to addresses registered on the Discussion Board.
