The WNGEA has many types of membership programs. The primary membership that is the most important for the association is the Annual and Life memberships for members of the Wisconsin National Guard Enlisted members. Click On the Membership Types below:
Annual WNGEA Member All Active and Retired Enlisted members of the Wisconsin National Guard, or any other state National Guard may become annual members while serving, or having served in a federally recognized unit of the National Guard as traditional, Active Guard Reserve (AGR) Title 32, or Title 10 status, or have been honorably discharged as an Enlisted member of the National Guard of the United States, and pay annual dues in accordance with Annual membership dues policy. Annual members of the WNGEA also are annual members of EANGUS. Membership dues is approximatly one hours Guard Pay per year. Life WNGEA Member All Annual Enlisted members of the Wisconsin National Guard Enlisted Association are eligible to become life members. Life members shall pay dues in advance, in accordance with life membership dues policy, and shall remain a lifetime member until the time of their death. Life members are paid up annual members. Life members of the WNGEA are life members of EANGUS. Life Memberships received will only be processed at the end of each month. EANGUS assigns a Life Member Number when they process the application. They will send out a Life Membership Card to the member. The WNGEA will also send out a state Life Membership cared as soon as the EANGUS Life Member Number is known. You may ask, "Why such a high cost?" The rate of $20.00 per year is at the E4-E6 level of annual membership. The annual rate for membership is always subject to increases over the years. With a life membership, you are locked in, and are not subject to the annual membership dues increases. Is this a good bargain? If your intention is to stay an active member of the WNGEA, then your paying in advance for a Life Membership will save you money in the long run when you are eventually promoted to a higher rank, and the annual dues increases. So, when you become E7, take a serious look at becoming a life member.
