How the USAA program works.

At the 2001 EANGUS National Conference in Mobile, Alabama, representatives of USAA made a presentation to the state presidents during their luncheon concerning membership in EANGUS. They proposed a program to encourage membership in both the state association and ENAGUS. It was widely endorsed by those present. Each year after since this program started, USAA has offered to sponsor all enlisted members promoted to E-5 and E-6 during calendar year to a one-year membership in EANGUS.

Starting in 2007, USAA changed their policy from newly promoted E5s and E6s to offer a free membership to ALL E5s and E6s regardless of when they were promoted.

There are two ways for members to gain a free membership into EANGUS and the WNGEA.

1. Each branch personal shop can send a list of newly promoted E5s and E6s for each unit to validate their approval to send their name in for the membership.

2. Each E5 and E6 can apply directly to EANGUS using the USAA Application Form

3. Application notes:
> You do not have to include your SSAN on the application.

> You can not save the PDF document to a file.
